Viña Maipo perustettiin Chilen Maipo-laaksoon 1948. Alue on yksi Chilen alkuperäisiä viinintuotantoalueita joilla on pitkät perinteet laatuviinien tuotannossa. Viña Maipo on saanut nimensä pienen Maipon kylän mukaan jonka asukkaat elävät viinintuotannosta. Viña Maipo:lla on hallussaan alueen laatutarhoja ja talon viinien laatu on mitä parasta hintaluokasta riippumatta. Tämän todistaa Viña Maipon jatkuva suosion nousu täällä Suomessakin. Viña Maipon viinintekijä ja nouseva kyky alalla on ollut vuodesta 2007 saakka Max Weinlaub.

Väri, tuoksu & maku:

Vaalean kirkkaankeltainen väri. Intensiivinen tuoksu, jossa trooppisia hedelmiä, kuten papaijaa ja ananasta. Häivähdys omenaa ja päärynää, lopussa vähän voita ja puuta. Kuiva, todella raikas, pehmeä, tasapainoinen maku.
