Viña Maipo perustettiin Chilen Maipo-laaksoon 1948. Alue on yksi Chilen alkuperäisiä viinintuotantoalueita joilla on pitkät perinteet laatuviinien tuotannossa. Viña Maipo on saanut nimensä pienen Maipon kylän mukaan jonka asukkaat elävät viinintuotannosta.

Vaalean kirkkaankeltainen väri. Intensiivinen tuoksu, jossa trooppisia hedelmiä, kuten papaijaa ja ananasta. Häivähdys omenaa ja päärynää, lopussa vähän voita ja puuta. Kuiva, todella raikas, pehmeä ja tasapainoinen maku.
